Our Education

Methodology
Enter any Helen Doron International classroom and you will find children in the midst of joyful learning, play and discovery. Children learn effortlessly through fun, age-appropriate activities and positive feedback from teachers. Our methodology, based on 35 years of educational excellence and proven success includes a curriculum that instils a life-long love of learning through positive reinforcement and a supportive and happy English immersion environment. Helen Doron students love learning and they learn how to learn. This lays a foundation for ongoing successful learning.
Developmental Milestones Start Ahead, Stay Ahead
Every child is unique and reaches developmental milestones (the functional skills and tasks for each age and stage) at his or her own individual pace. All our activities feature a variety of learning styles and skill levels to help each child grow and reach his potential.
Cognitive
Cognitive milestones measure thinking skills: including learning, understanding, problem-solving, reasoning, and remembering. Our play-based, hands-on learning environment and curriculum encourages creativity and allows children to satisfy their curiosity and take initiative. We introduce the children to various topics and experiences which enable them to practice reasoning and problem solving skills and to become more complex thinkers.
Social-Emotional
Social – Emotional milestones encompass children’s interactions with others and how they relate to family, friends, and teachers. Helen Doron International provides a reassuring environment to interact harmoniously with others, develop communication skills, and build relationships. During the course of the day, through positive reinforcement, our staff supports the children while they learn about themselves and their abilities.
Physical
Physical milestones evaluate how children use their muscles: large muscles to sit, stand, walk, and run— small muscles to eat, draw, and play.
Early childhood is all about physical changes! In Helen Doron International, children discover and develop their skills and abilities.
Nutrition & Safety Body-Mind Connection
Science is very clear that children form lifelong food preferences and behaviours when they’re young. Eating well helps children develop resilient bodies and healthy attitudes that will strongly influence their eventual health as adults. Including an optimal diet to facilitate learning and development is often neglected in educational settings but at Helen Doron International we consider this a vital part of our holistic multi-disciplinary learning environment.
The food we feed our children not only provides the fuel and nourishment for their bodies to grow and develop but also influences the mechanisms which controls mood, concentration and the ability to learn.
Safe and Secure
All Helen Doron International comply with international and early childhood education standards and local regulations for meeting the highest safety procedures and regulations. When choosing a preschool for their children, parents might consider a number of different factors, including cost, location, curriculum, hours of operation and environment. A preschool environment should be safe, above all things, and ensuring safety in a preschool setting encompasses a number of considerations. These include not only the physical environment, but also include the emotional safety and well-being of each child.
